Frequently asked questions
CF grades require slightly higher temperatures and pressures. Very abrasive → carbide tooling is mandatory. Almost isotropic shrinkage is very low. Electrical conductivity must be taken into account in the design of parts.
PPA is difficult to recycle due to its aromatic structure and high processing temperatures. Take-back schemes are available from some manufacturers. Not intended for consumer recycling.
PPA is not suitable for food applications. Its high processing temperature and special additives make it suitable for high-performance technical applications.
