Le PC est sensible aux solvants chlorés, hydrocarbures aromatiques et bases fortes (hydrolyse). Bonne résistance aux acides dilués et à l'eau à T° ambiante. Éviter les esters et cétones. Sensible au stress-cracking avec certaines graisses.
